If you only saw a big speech - or a short clip of one - you are not stupid. You are late to a long fight about elections, intelligence reports, foreign influence, tech platforms, and trust.
On July 16, 2026, the President gave a national address about election security, said materials would be unclassified and released, and pointed people to an official site:

That page is the door. This short book maps the first room.
Two loud teams will shout first:
- "Finally, the smoking gun."
- "Recycled lies. Nothing to see."
Both want your feelings before you open a file. This library's rule is different:
Speech is pressure. Documents are possible proof. Score the claim type before you pick a side.

Media pre-dismissal (plain English)
Some coverage said "nothing new" before the packages were public, then again after. That can look like panic. Shared incentives can lockstep without a secret plot. Argue the documents, not the pre-write.
On-page quote (20 Nov 2020): "We have deliberately massaged our one pending PDB to avoid any direct links to the election." That is process evidence. The name of the NSA analyst who wrote it is still redacted in the public package. It is not automatic proof that vote totals flipped.
Same winter, other pole (named): Dec 30 FBI email on the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) minority -- Nikki Floris (then FBI Counterintelligence) accepted a minority box but set a red line against stuffing Key Judgments without context; "no evidence" China leaders intended to affect candidates; Director Wray had already signed the assessment. That is the named process figure on that pole -- language fights, not "she stole the election." The June 25 President's Daily Brief in the dump is China policy/blackmail language (mostly redacted), not the later massaged product.
Why keep this (not just "read once")
